Lingerie is a personal gift, and the wrong size is the fastest way to make it awkward. The safest gift is one that is easy to adjust, easy to exchange and clearly chosen for the person rather than the box.
Start with what they already wear
If you can see a label, use it. If you cannot, do not guess a bra size from a dress size. Bra size is a band and a cup; dress size tells you neither. A robe, a cami set or a slip is more forgiving than a structured bra.
Easy sizes first
| Gift | Size risk | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Robe | Low | Adjustable belt, loose fit |
| Cami and shorts set | Low to medium | Elastic or adjustable straps |
| Slip or babydoll | Medium | Check underbust and length |
| Bra and brief set | High | Needs band and cup |
| Roleplay costume | Medium | Often runs small; check the set |
Choose a style they will wear
Think about what they already own: black lace, satin, mesh, a particular colour. A gift that fits their existing drawer is more likely to be worn than a novelty. If you are unsure, choose a neutral colour and a shape that can be worn under clothing.
Keep the receipt and the seal
Lingerie returns depend on the hygiene seal. Do not remove it before the gift is tried on. Keep the packaging and the order confirmation. A 14-day return window is easier to use when the recipient knows it exists, so say so when you give it.
Packaging and presentation
Every order ships in a plain, unbranded mailer. If you are giving it as a gift, add your own card rather than relying on the outer packaging. Check the delivery date before the occasion; tracked delivery is 7–12 working days, so order early.
If you are still unsure
Choose a robe or a cami set, or give a size guide and let them choose. The size guide uses bust, underbust, waist and hip. For more, read lingerie gifts for her and browse robes and cami sets.
